Animals, like people, have an energy field that surrounds their bodies. Blockages can develop in their energy field and can manifest in different ways in their bodies. Energy Medicine practitioners will help to clear those blockages. Energy healing has always been used along side other forms of healing, the world over. Healing through prayers, placing hands on another, etc. In my spiritual healing practice there is the option of in person or distance sessions for animals. These will be specific for each individual animal.
Reiki/Energy sessions are up to 1 hour. Animals will determine the length of their time. For in-person, we will start once they are calmed and lying down. Animals tend to lie peacefully and rest during Reiki and when they have had enough, will get up and leave the room or area. In the case of an animal that is having trouble calming down, we will start from a distance in the space, and allow them to calm down with the energy. From there, we will continue with hands on or off, depending on their comfort. Reiki may be done with a light, gentle pressure touch on the chakra points or the practitioners hands may remain a few inches above the clients body. This all depends on their comfort level.
For distance sessions, we will choose a time they are typically calm and resting and will last an hour.
Just as herbs and flower essences have been used for people, Herbs & Flower essences offer a gentle option for our animals life force, taking into account the body, mind and soul, as Nature intended, with individualized formulas.
