I have always been drawn to helping others and animals. The healer has always been in me. Having watched the Italian side of my family use plants for medicine, and the Canadian side of the family with roots in England, Ireland and Scotland who were very spiritual, the calling to work with plants and energy has always been deep within me. Formulating a herbal blend or flower essence blend, or anointing a candle with a blend of oils and herbs for energy work is how my soul has been longing for me to work. My spiritual practice started when I was a teenager, however life got in the way. After many years of being a mother and at a point when I needed to find myself again, I embraced who I am and found my way back to my spiritual practice.
I am a Clinical Herbalist, Clinical Aromatherapist, Clinical Animal Herbalist, Equine Massage Therapist, Flower Essence Practitioner, Greenwitch, Reiki Practitioner & Manual Osteopath. I studied herbal medicine with Herbalists Demetria Clark and Rosemary Gladstar, as well as Avicenna Institute of Natural Health & Centre of Excellence. I studied plant spirit medicine with Herbalists Seraphina Capranos and Sara Artemisia as well as Centre of Excellence, this looks at the whole plant and how it affects us both physically and spiritually. I completed my animal naturopathy doctorate with Kingdom College of Natural Health. I am currently studying reflexology, birth doula, hypnotherapy/hypnobirthing and holistic nutrition with CofE, doctorate of metaphysical psychology with university of Sedona and doctorate of homeopathic psychology with KCNH. I have graduated from 2 osteopathy degrees with NUMSS. Over the years I have also studied Reiki, Homeopathy, Nutrition, Natural Medicine for both people and animals, as well as equine massage therapy.
What is a hedgewitch? In the past, just beyond the village you would find a wise woman living in a small cottage. She was a herbalist and midwife. The village healer. Using nature to nourish and support the bodies innate healing abilities and bringing that healing into the home.
