​I have always been drawn to helping others and animals. The healer has always been in me. Having watched the Italian side of my family use plants for medicine, and the Canadian side of the family with roots in England, Ireland and Scotland who were very spiritual, the calling to work with plants and energy has always been deep within me. Formulating a herbal blend or flower essence blend, or anointing a candle with a blend of oils and herbs for energy work is how my soul has been longing for me to work.  My spiritual practice started when I was a teenager, however life got in the way.  After many years of being a mother and at a point when I needed to find myself again, I embraced who I am and found my way back to my spiritual practice.  Many Shamanic practitioners, witches, spiritual and energy practitioners take on a spiritual name.  Mine came to me in a dream as well as using numerology, Oonagh.

I am a Clinical Herbalist, Metaphysician, Animal Herbalist, Equine Massage Therapist, Shamanic Hedgewitch, Reiki Practitioner & Animal Reiki Practitioner, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner​ & Manual Osteopath. I studied herbal medicine with Herbalists Demetria Clark and Rosemary Gladstar specializing in women's reproductive health and wellness, and Centre of Excellence; as well as plant spirit medicine, meditation & rituals with Herbalists Seraphina Capranos and Sara Artemisia & Centre of Excellence.  I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Naturopathy with Kingdom College of Natural Health.  I earned my Doctor of Osteopathy with NUMSS and have furthered my osteopathic education with Dr. Jonathan Evans DO.  I am an Equine Massage Therapist having studied with Sidonia McIntyre and am currently studying Canine Massage Therapy and Animal Neuro-myofascial Release Technique with  Dr. Angelique Barbara DC.  I am currently studying reflexology, holistic fertility & women's reproductive health, & hypnotherapy/hypnobirthing, Shamanic Energy Healing, Animal Communication with Certified Excellence, a Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, B.Msc., a Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, M.Msc. with the University of Metaphysic, and a Doctorate of Metaphysical Psychology, Mpsy.D., and Doctorate of Metaphysical Hypnosis, Mhyp.D., with the University of Sedona. Over the years I have also studied Homeopathy, Holistic Nutrition, & Natural Medicine.

What is a hedgewitch? In the past, just beyond the village you would find a wise woman living in a small cottage. She was a herbalist and midwife. The village healer. Using nature to nourish and support the bodies innate healing abilities and bringing that healing into the home.
